​REACH Impact

REACH Innovation is much more than a single program.  It is a holistic and inclusive vision for future change and growth in Niagara, based around the concept of Sustainable Livelihoods, that seeks through direct engagement to enhance the five primary indicators for community and individual wellbeing - aspirational, personal, financial, communal and environmental.

REACH Innovation will bring a multi-dimensional approach to transforming the lives of many often overlooked in the community focusing on three key outcomes:

1. Skills training, work experience and employment supports delivered through our REACH construction programs.
2. Social enterprise incubation and business development to open up more avenues for employment and revenue generation as part of our Community Resource and Innovation Centre.
3. Development of attainable rental and ownership housing for current and future generations – smaller footprint, modular design, highly efficient, lower cost.

REACH Innovation Sustainable Livelihoods Impact Tracking Model #1

Over the course of 48 months and using a Sustainable Livelihoods "asset building" model, REACH Innovation shall provide targeted supports to 56 youth from diverse backgrounds facing various systemic, personal and employment barriers. The program will track both quantitative outcomes and qualitative impacts.
